I am so happy to say that I have finished two out of five of my finals. So far, I am right on schedule! There was a second there when I wasn’t sure I would be able to make my deadline for the second one, but I did! It did require an all-nighter, but I made that up by sleeping in the next day. My next deadline isn’t for another week and a half, but I would like to get another one finished within the next week. Should be possible with the help of some coffee, but I’ll keep you’se updated. The one I am currently working on is for my Asylum and Migration class. It’s a 3,500 word essay, and I already have my research proposal finished. I did write it a while ago, and, looking back, there’s a few things I want to change now. Whatever I decide, I will be doing research on refugee camps and human rights for the next few days.
I know I have mentioned it before, but I seem to remember this only when I am writing these blogs and thinking about the errands I still have to run. I have to figure out how to get all my stuff back to the States! I just found a mailing service, but I am hoping there is a cheaper one available. Given my budgeting right now, I am truly hoping so.
I have exactly four weeks left in Northern Ireland! I’m also one of the last ones in my friend group to leave, so there really is not that much time left to hang out. The hope is to make it possible amidst finals, but everyone is extremely busy! We are trying to plan a trip down to Newcastle. My friend says there’s wifi at the house, so we could work on our essays there. I don’t know if that would actually happen, but it’s something nice to look forward to.
