A Few Life Updates

Hello hello!

It is officially exam season at Wellesley! With just two weeks to go until spring break, here’s a bit of what’s happening in my life right now (in addition to an abundance of papers and exams):

  • I had a lovely weekend meeting with my brother in Boston. We walked around the entire city, and had a wonderful time, stopping to eat at Gourmet Dumpling House, Tatte Bakery & Cafe, and Gre.co! Great places to check out, if you’re in the city and want to grab a yummy bite to eat.
  • Wellesley had [half] a snow day yesterday! It was crazy in the morning – with a major storm dumping 6-10 inches of snow on our campus! Morning classes were canceled. The snow ended up stopping in the afternoon, so both of my afternoon classes proceeded as planned.
  • It’s official: Next fall, I will be studying abroad at the University of Cambridge, in England! I was accepted into the program a few weeks ago, but I made my decision last week! I’m beyond thrilled, and hope to keep you all updated on my adventures ~abroad~. I also have some friends going to Oxford, Edinburgh, Madrid, and London in the fall, so I’m excited to meet up and travel with them!
  • This summer, I will be in Boston interning at Medical-Legal Partnership Boston (MPLB), through the Lumpkin Summer Institute for Service Learning. MLPB is a non profit organization focused on advancing health equity for communities through legal problem-solving.
  • My study for my Research Methods course is very close to being finalized. My partner and I just have to finish and turn in our RAF [Research Approval Form], obtain approval from the committee, and then we can start running subjects! It’s an exciting time!
  • I just want to reiterate: spring break is two. weeks. away. Hang in there, everyone!!

We’re almost there,

Shreya
