Hello hello!
Congratulations to the newly admitted Wellesley class of 2023! The whole Wellesley community is so excited to welcome you and we are thrilled to meet you. Right now, my friends and I are busy writing letters to admitted students, and we are so looking forward to seeing you on campus either during Spring Open Campus or in the fall!
If you have any questions about Wellesley, feel free to email askastudent@wellesley.edu and I’ll try to answer them as best as I can! Keep in mind, I am only one student with my own unique experiences and perspectives. There are two thousand current Wellesley students out there, each with different thoughts and opinions!
I remember after I was admitted (2 years ago this time, which is crazy!), I scrambled to learn more about the life of a Wellesley student. I scoured student blogs, the Wellesley website and youtube channel. I would recommend starting with Wellesley’s campaign video called This Is The Place. Here’s a small compilation of What It’s Like to Be Here. Finally, I would move on to Everything About Us, All at Once! Of course, the website you’re on right now is a great place to browse. Feel free to look around Women Who Will Blog and read older posts!
During this crazy time in the semester, I always like to remind myself how lucky I am to be at Wellesley and have an endless variety of opportunities. To everyone reading this now (whether you’ll be at Wellesley or somewhere else next semester), I am so sure you’ll make the right choices, and end up where you are supposed to be.
