So I’m back from Spring Break – waaaah! Just kidding!
Actually I’m feeling optimistic about the rest of the semester. There is much
to be done – papers, projects, and tests as usual. Then there’s planning for
the future. This week, I’ll start the processes of choosing my classes and dorm
room for next year. It’s hitting me that I’m almost a sophomore – that fast!
I know it’s cliché, but the time has flown since I wrote my first blog. I
can only imagine how the seniors here feel!
The same applies to you guys. You’re making tough choices,
and soon you will be living with them. I don’t say that to scare you, but it’s
the truth. My unsolicited advice about college selection is this – please visit
if you can. There is nothing compared to actually setting foot on a campus and
observing the atmosphere.
That brings me to Spring Open Campus! I attended SOC last
year, and it sealed my selection of Wellesley. This year, SOC will be held on April 26 and 27
– look here for more info: http://www.wellesley.edu/admission/SOC/schedule.htm
If you come, you’ll be able to attend panel discussions,
learn about extracurricular activities, and even attend classes! To top it all
off, you get to spend your visit with an overnight hostess who is a current
Wellesley student – some lucky duck is going to get to kick it with me! All
jokes aside, staying with a current student lets you see the life of a
Wellesley woman up close. Consider it, ladies!
Okay, I need you guys to go with me on this one – this photo was not actually taken during SOC, but it did rain during SOC 2009, and these people (my friends) were there!
