You almost didn’t get to see this because on Monday through Thursday, homework is my first priority – I’m not sure I would have lasted this long (about eight weeks) if it wasn’t. You almost didn’t get to see this because I put in a little time each weeknight at the campus center. You almost didn’t get to see this because on Saturday, I spent the check from my campus center job at Target, buying stuff that I used to use all the time without thinking, like detergent.
You almost didn’t get to see this because on Friday, I was at a party held on campus by the women of Ethos, the Wellesley org for women of African descent. You almost didn’t get to see this because on Saturday I was working as a part of Ethos’ One Love Productions taping this event…
…presented by the Wellesley African Students Association. You almost didn’t get to see this because I do homework on the weekends too. 🙂
However, you are seeing this, because I want you to come to Wellesley and be just as busy as I am, and – now that I look back on all that I’ve done this week—as satisfied as I am, too.
