Instead of a full rundown, today I want to share specific moments in a regular day of classes.
8:50am: This is when I get out of bed after my twentieth alarm goes off. After I get up, I make my bed. Then, I take my little shower caddy with my toothbrush and toothpaste and go to the communal bathroom to brush my teeth, thoroughly wash my face, and moisturize. I take skincare seriously!
1:15 pm: I am in the art library reading an article for my macroeconomics class and am about to listen to a Zoom event hosted by the Economics Student Association. It’s a panel of Wellesley alums talking about graduate schools and their careers.
7:05pm: Now is my PE yoga class and when I start pulling out a yoga mat from the supply closet. I mentioned at the beginning of the semester that I’m taking yoga. Wellesley requires 8 credits of PE, which typically translates to 2 PE classes. I enjoy yoga, it’s a good way to stay active and improve your core strength and flexibility. Each class ends with a short meditation period with the lights off, which typically results in some snores coming from the back of the room…
12:30am: I’m in my dorm common room finishing a paper for my first year writing class. The common room usually has a few other students who also work later at night like me. My favorite spot is the tables by the large windows.
I hope this different format of writing about my day was interesting! Spring break begins this weekend and I’m excited to fly back home for the week and relax. Unfortunately I have a good amount of homework and exams when we return, so I will have to work on those during break. Next post or so after break, I’ll do an update on my semester goals I’ve mentioned before. Thanks for reading!
