Hi everybody!
I can’t believe the semester is almost over. After today, there’s exactly one more week before classes end and it’s time for the final exams.
I know how hard the final stretch before the end of the semester can be, so I decided to share with you some of the things that have made me smile this past week.
- Ordering food with my friends. I know that it’s a big waste of money, but from time to time it’s just really nice to get the food that you are craving and share the experience with your friends.
- Having lunch behind Stone-Davis. I have been really busy with homework and office hours lately, so I have been getting quick lunch from the cafeteria in my dorm. My favorite place to enjoy it is outside, behind the building. The view is really gorgeous and I really enjoy the 20 minutes alone with some fresh air.
- Seeing my roommate present at the Ruhlam conference. This conference is organized every spring semester for students to present their research and projects they have been working on in the past year. She has been working with one of the Physics professors this past semester, and it was really exciting to watch her present her work.
- Late-night walks with my friends. I really love walking around, especially when I need to clear my mind. Some of my friends do the same thing, so we have been taking walks to the Ville (this is what we call the town of Wellesley on campus). I have been enjoying those walks a lot, especially since we usually end up in the supermarket, buying fresh fruit (and I really love berries!).
- Completing my to-do list. I spent hours and hours in the library on Monday because I had a pretty long to-do list, and there’s nothing more satisfactory than crossing out the last thighs on such a list.
- Seeing the baby ducks/geese around campus. The geese and ducks around campus make me smile in general whenever I see them. Seeing their babies, however, is even better!
That’s it from me for the week. Stay safe!
