Fall Break: A Time for Rest, Relaxation and Running!

As the air turns crisp and the leaves transform into the pretty shades of red and gold, there’s a special excitement in the air for the upcoming fall break. For me, this year is extra special—my last fall break as a senior in college. It’s a time to step back from the whirlwind of classes, assignments, and campus life to relax and recharge.

I am very excited to be spending my upcoming fall break on Cape Cod. Despite being a New Englander local, I have never been to the Cape and am so excited to go. New England is so special in the fall. I can’t wait to see the calm beaches, and to explore the new trails. I love being able to explore and go on a run especially at my own leisure while on a fall getaway.

I’m also looking forward to catching up on some work. Being away from campus gives me a nice mix of relaxing and getting things done, so I can feel good about staying on top of my assignments. The fall can be a daunting time with midterms and finals coming up all too quickly. I plan to use this time to set myself up for success for the remainder of the semester.

Fall break wouldn’t be the same without time with friends. I’m excited for casual hangouts, random conversations, and just being together. With graduation coming up, I’m really trying to appreciate these moments and the people who’ve been such a big part of my college years.

Cape Cod this year will be more than a getaway but instead a place to reflect, recharge, and reconnect before diving back into the final stretch of senior year. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend this special time and with such gorgeous weather to spend time in.

Until next week,

Anna Tutek
