Goodbye for now!

Dear lovely, absolutely amazing creatures,

I am so sad to tell you that this is my last blog as an Admission Summer Intern 😢. I had an amazing time working in the admission office. Shout out to all the wonderful people I met as an ASI, you truly made my experience so much better and special!!!!

This blog will mostly be a reflection of my summer and some of my favourite moments.

This is when we went strawberry picking with the entire admissions team!

This summer I finally got to see my oldest, middle and youngest sisters in Boston altogether as a family for the first time in 5 years!!! We toured Boston together and also visited North End!!! Since I haven’t seen my family for so long this also was the first time we actually celebrated our birthdays, which we otherwise would just not.

I also visited a bunch of festivals in Lowell, MA. This is when I visited the folk festival in July, which is one of the biggest folk festivals in the entire country!!! I also visited a water festival in Lowell but I didn’t take pictures. I was too busy enjoying myself, he-he!

And of course our dress up as Jenna and dress up as Sheker days!!!

Reflecting on this summer, I’m filled with gratitude. From strawberry picking with the admissions team to reuniting with my sisters after five years, every moment was unforgettable. Celebrating birthdays together, exploring Boston, and attending festivals in Lowell brought so much joy into my life. And, of course, our fun dress-up days as Jenna and Sheker were a blast!

Being an ASI was more than just a job; it was a chance to be part of a community that’s making a difference. I’m grateful for the friendships, the laughter, and the memories we’ve created.

Though this chapter is ending, the memories and connections will stay with me. Thank you for being part of this journey. Until next time, keep shining and spreading kindness!

With love,
Sheker 💖
