Goodbye (for now)!

Hi everyone!

It’s the last week of classes, honk, honk! The weather is great, the flowers are blooming, the birds are singing…and exams are coming. I am honestly enjoying the warm weather so much that I am a little behind on homework right now, but I should be able to catch up by LDOC, the last day of classes. I have mostly been reading outside for the past few days during every free moment I had. My favorite spot for that? The Science Center front porch or the Stone-Davis backyard. Speaking of StoneD, I will be living there next year, on the same floor as most of my friends, so yay!

A flowering tree standing on a green lawn in front of Green Hall.

This is neither of the mentioned places, but I enjoyed sitting outside there, by Green Hall, a lot too

I only have 2 (2.5?) in person exams this semester, thermodynamics and number theory. The 0.5 is because I have a short in person examination for my music class. I am planning to do all of that on the first day of the exam period, next Tuesday. That’s because my flight is on Wednesday, and I am probably gonna need that whole day to move out of my room.

Do you want to know something else happening on Tuesday? I will be meeting with my summer advisor. He is coming to Wellesley to meet with one of my professors, and we are gonna chat for a little bit. I’m very excited about that! I will be spending the summer at the Brookhaven National Lab in Long Island, doing some neutrino-related research. That will probably be the topic of my senior thesis, so I am very much looking forward to starting that work.

That’s my updates for now. I hope all of you have a great summer. I will be back next year to document all of my adventures during my last year of Wellesley!
