Greetings my lovely readers! I am back this week with another installment of my blog :). If y’all haven’t yet read my movie review of the new F1 Movie, y’all should go check it out! So this week, I am going to take you guys with me on a little rewind of our first bonding trip as Admissions Interns! So for context, this trip was actually a surprise for us. Our amazing supervisors, Jenna and Nhia, had told us that after work, we would be going on a bonding trip together, but they said they were going to keep it a secret until we arrived. The only hint we had was that we should dress comfortably and wear shoes that we may not mind getting dirty…I’m really bad at not knowing things, like I lowkey hate surprises y’all!! I spent days trying to crack the code on what it could be because the thought of not knowing was killing me 😭😭. My first guess was a rope assault course with ziplines and things of that nature, but I quickly found out that was very unrealistic since not everyone in our group likes heights! 😂! We all tried to guess, but Jenna and Nhia were not giving a single thing away no matter how much we tried!!!!! The car ride over was hilarious because they had told us that we were going to be on the road for around 40 minutes, so the whole time we were driving, we all kept our eyes glued on the roads and signs to see if we could get a clue of where we were going….. There was so much anticipation in the air that day! Anyways the actual ride was super fun and loud! We had the sound system turned all the way up, so we were singing the whole 40 minutes y’all…..From Beyoncé to Sabrina Carpenter to Taylor Swift….we sang a lot! It was so funny because only a couple of us in the group are actually good at singing….as for the rest of us, well we try! A lot of notes were hit, I don’t necessarily think that they were all in key, but we still had a good time!

So when we got to our destination, we all started screaming because we got so excited when we saw where we were going! So we found out that we were at Kimball Farm!!!!!! It’s this really lovely farm in Boston that has a lot of really cool activities like horse-riding, water boats, zip lining, bumper cars and more! So we all got this pass that let us pick 3 activities each, and we ended up choosing mini golf, water boats, and ziplining (I’m a scaredy cat, so I did bumper cars 😂😂). We had the best time!!!!! The weather was awful though….it was raining really hard, so we spent most of the time mini golfing whilst we were all drenched from the rain……we still had a blast though ☺️☺️. It was so much fun getting to spend some time together as a team and bond. The day was full of laughs and very unserious mini golf attempts. I was so bad at mini golf y’all…..I was so embarrassed every time I missed the hit. Everyone was laughing, and I just had to join in and laugh at myself because I was so awful 😂. Y’all when we went on the water boats….I almost got stuck! I was struggling to figure out how to power the boat to make me move, so I just sat in the boat for 10 minutes, and I didn’t move at all. Everyone else was so confused because I just wasn’t moving so one of the staff had to come over and save me 😭. Ziplining was also hilarious!!! Sofía, Rachel, Chelsea and Bri were screaming so hard when the zipline pulled them up into the air. I was standing on the side watching them, and I was dying of laughter because of their screams. I have said this in other posts but these lot are actually some of my favorite people, and it’s been such a joy spending my summer with them and growing closer as a team! ❤️❤️☺️
