Reset and jet-set to the U.S.!

Hi all,

I am going home this week! I cannot believe how quickly time has flown by. December has really crept up on me. This week’s post is largely going to be a mix of random thoughts that I have had. I have been working on my final exams (all six of them) coupled with the lovely task of packing my entire room into three suitcases, so needless to say my brain is fried. I figured for this little post it could be an inspiration for possible holiday gifts and a talking wish list of sorts. I have been struggling with brainstorming ideas of what to get for others as well as what I want. I feel like all year I think of things I would like but don’t necessarily need, and then once my parents ask around holiday time, my brain is blank! My family celebrates Christmas, so this is my Christmas list to Santa. 😀

I have been into light makeup recently and have found Selena Gomez’s brand, Rare Beauty, to be a solid option. The price is fair for the amount of product, and all of the ingredients are vegan and cruelty free. I have very sensitive skin, and even the air makes it angry. Thus far I have had success with her brand! Some products I have on my wishlist are linked below! (I am really loving this beauty influencer moment)

Rare Beauty:

Positive Light Tinted Moisturizer

Positive Light Under Eye Brightener

Such good options if you like lighter makeup that is also suitable for skincare!

If makeup isn’t of interest, I do have a few random things I have been enjoying. First of all, I made the switch from my HydroFlask to an Owala water bottle earlier this semester and it has been a game changer. I have the ‘FreeSip,’ which has both a straw and a “chug” function. I love being able to drink water when I walk or am exercising so the straw option was a must for me. I have the colorway “Neo Sage” in the 32 ounces option. A really great option for everyone!

Owala FreeSip

These are just a few small ideas I have had in terms of wishlist items. But regardless, the best gift is being in the moment and enjoying the time spent with loved ones, family and friends. Happy Holidays everyone!

Until the New Year,

Anna Tutek
