Hello blog!! My name is Sofía (she/her), and I’m an Admission Summer Intern 😀 I will be sharing all of my fun Wellesley stories and experiences with y’all throughout the summer ✨Here are some fun facts about me:
- Home for me is Alvarado, Texas 🐎
- I’m double majoring in English and education studies 🤓
- On campus, I’m a writing tutor, and I’m a Knapp Fellow doing research in education 🍎
- In the past, I’ve written for The Wellesley News, volunteered at the Child Study Center, tutored for a statistics class, and TA-ed for a writing class
I’m super excited to share my Wellesley life with you this summer! Since I’m going into my senior year, these blog posts are going to be very bittersweet. Wellesley truly has been my home away from home. I’ve spent all of my college summers here at Wellesley, I’ve done a Wintersession here, and I didn’t go abroad because of all of the amazing opportunities and the wonderful community I made here at Wellesley. I’ve felt grateful for the environment Wellesley has given me to grow. I hope all of my stories inspire you! (hopefully enough to push you to submit an application ;))
