Subject: Announcing the 2016-17 Schiff Fellowships
Date: November 21, 2016

The Committee on Curriculum and Academic Policy is pleased to announce the names of the twenty-three students who have been awarded Jerome A. Schiff Fellowships for 2016-27. We received 65 applications, and the committee found the process of narrowing to the 23 we were able to fund to be extremely difficult because so many of the proposals were truly excellent. It was an impressive pool, and we congratulate all the participants on the quality of this work.

We would like to thank all of the students who applied and the faculty members who supported those applications and will be supervising their research projects.
