Re: Campus Safety Alert

The Wellesley College Police Department has received and is currently investigating reports of an unknown white male seen standing outside of residence halls and looking inside common areas and private spaces.  The incidents were reported at Lake House, Bates Hall, and McAfee Hall over the course of three recent evenings.

Campus police immediately responded to the reports, and the Town of Wellesley Police Department has also been notified.

The description given to campus police is as follows:

White male / Approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall / 20 – 25 years of age / Brown hair /
Seen wearing a blue hoodie and blue jeans (in one instance, seen wearing a blue hoodie with red shorts).

The Wellesley College Police Department continues to investigate this matter and is conducting increased patrols.  Please remain alert, vigilant, and immediately report any
suspicious people to campus police at extension x5555.

  • Do not let people into the residence halls unescorted
