Re: Schiff Fellows
Date: November 13, 2017

The Committee on Curriculum and Academic Policy is pleased to announce the names of the twenty-one students who have been awarded Jerome A. Schiff Fellowships for 2017-18.  This year’s fellows include a single award made to two students who are working on a joint thesis project.  We received 62 applications, and the committee found the process of narrowing to the 20 projects we were able to fund to be extremely difficult because so many of the proposals were truly excellent.  It was an impressive pool, and we congratulate all the participants on the quality of their work.

We would like to thank all of the students who applied and the faculty members who supported those applications and will be supervising their research projects.
