Re: Campus-wide Test of Emergency Notification System
Date: October 18, 2018

On Tuesday, October 23, 2018 between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m., Wellesley College will conduct a campus-wide test of the College’s mass notification messaging system.

In the event an extreme emergency is reported and confirmed, system administrators will create and send out an emergency notification message to the Wellesley College community via voice messages, emails, and text messages (if your phone is text enabled). If you have not already done so, please update your contact information so you can be warned in the event of an emergency.

Students can update their information via the Student Self-Service (http://bit.ly/2m0kHA7) tab of MyWellesley. Go to Banner Self-Service > Personal Information > Verify and Update Contact Information.

Faculty and Staff can review and update their contact information in Workday in the Personal Information worklet. Under Change, click Contact Information, then Edit. Click the pencil icon next to any sections you wish to update. When you’re done, click Submit, then Done. Instructions (http://bit.ly/2m0mRQj).

Wellesley College will only use this system in cases of emergency. The system will not be used to send SPAM or irrelevant messages.

It is important that anybody who may be at your home or has access to your home phone mailbox be made aware that this call will come in between the time of 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 23, 2018.
