Re: Announcing the 2018-19 Schiff Fellowships and the new Knapp Social Science Fellows
Date: November 12, 2018

The Committee on Curriculum and Academic Policy is pleased to announce the names of the twenty-one students who have been awarded Jerome A. Schiff Fellowships for 2018-19. We received 54 applications, and the committee found the process of narrowing to the 21 we were able to fund to be extremely difficult because so many of the proposals were truly excellent. It was an impressive pool, and we congratulate all the participants on the quality of this work.
This year, the Knapp Social Science Center was also able to support two Knapp Social Science Fellows from among the Schiff applicants. Their names are also listed below.
We would like to thank all of the students who applied and the faculty members who supported those applications and will be supervising their research projects.
