As we go into the weekend I am writing to make you aware of an unusual incident that took place on campus on Halloween evening last week. A visitor to our campus attended a party at Punch’s Alley where he then exposed himself to students. Students immediately notified Campus Police who arrived quickly. The man was arrested and taken into custody. He was arraigned on Friday and has a no-trespass order for our campus.

I want to commend our students for notifying Wellesley College Police about the incident so quickly and thank our police department for their swift and effective response. I want to remind students that Campus Police is here to offer assistance to you whenever needed. Here is some useful information to have at your fingertips:
Program Campus Police numbers into your phone so you can easily dial if needed (Emergency: 781-283-5555; Non-emergency: 781-283-2121)
Be aware that Campus Escorts are available
Do not let people into the residence halls unescorted
Note that blue light emergency phones, which connect directly to Campus Police, are available across campus
For non-emergencies, remember that the College’s Title IX Coordinator is another resource (781-283-2451) available to you
