Re: Access Your 2019 W-2 and Review Your 2020 W-4
Date: January 17, 2020

Your 2019 federal W-2 form is now available in ADP.

If you opted for paper delivery of your W-2 form last year, your 2019 W-2 will be mailed to your home address by January 31, 2020. We encourage you to go paperless for your W-2 delivery. If you would prefer the paperless option for future W-2 forms, you can make that change in ADP.

If you were new to Wellesley College in 2019, please use this step-by-step guide to register with ADP. Once you complete your registration, your 2019 W-2 form will be available in ADP by January 31, 2020. Please note that your 2019 W-2 form will be mailed to your home address by January 31, 2020. If you would prefer a paperless option for future W-2 forms, you may elect that option when you register.

The IRS has announced significant changes to Form W-4, Employee’s Withholding
Certificate, for 2020.

Even though the IRS does not require employees to complete the revised form, and even if your tax situation has not changed, we strongly recommend that you perform a “paycheck checkup” to see if you need to make adjustments to your current withholding. Please note that you will need your most recent pay stub and 2019 tax return to perform your checkup.

If you do not submit a new form, withholding will continue based on your previously submitted form. If you would like to make changes to your withholdings, you can complete them through the Pay Worklet in Workday. Simply click on the Pay Worklet, then click on Withholding Elections under Actions. The IRS has published a list of frequently asked questions regarding the W-4 form that you may find helpful.

If you need help with ADP, W-2 forms for years prior to 2019, or navigating Workday, please contact Juanita Brown (x2797 or jbrown1@wellesley.edu) or Kara Geraci (x2727 or kgeraci@wellesley.edu) in the Payroll Office.
