Re: New Interim Director of Nondiscrimination Initiatives and Title IX Coordinator/504 Coordinator
Date: May 28, 2021

I am writing to welcome Jacqueline Anchondo back to Wellesley College on June 1 to serve as Wellesley’s interim director of nondiscrimination initiatives and Title IX coordinator/504 coordinator this summer. As many of you know, Jacqueline previously served in this role from 2016 to 2018, and we are delighted that she is returning to once again support our community in this important function.

Kate Upatham, who has done a wonderful job in this role, is moving on to an exciting new role leading the university disability resources office at Harvard University. We are sorry to see Kate go, but wish her the best and want to thank her for her outstanding service and for her unwavering dedication to supporting the needs of our community.

Wellesley College remains committed to providing a safe environment that is free from discrimination and harassment for our students, faculty, and staff. The College does not tolerate sexual harassment or sexual misconduct, and we take any accusations of this conduct very seriously. I encourage you to visit Wellesley’s Nondiscrimination and Title IX websites, where you can find Wellesley’s Interim Sexual Misconduct Policy and the Policy Against Unlawful Discrimination, Harassment, and Retaliation. This site also offers resources for how to report discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct. We encourage you to utilize the College’s resources whenever you need them.

Again, please join me in warmly welcoming Jacqueline back to Wellesley this summer, and feel free to contact her through the online reporting form, by email at titleix@wellesley.edu, or by phone at 781.281.2451.
