Re: Update Regarding Academic Building Access on Campus

In on-going efforts to provide a safe and secure campus, the College recently worked with higher education safety consultants to provide recommendations on campus security policies and practices. Building hours have not changed, but as we start the new academic year, you may have noticed that card tap readers have been added to many building perimeter doors, requiring use of your College ID to enter. The installation of card readers is ongoing by the Facilities team, but many doors are already completed, and you can use your Wellesley College ID card to enter buildings. Your ID works at all academic and administrative buildings, and you are encouraged to carry it with you at all times to ensure access.
