We are pleased to announce that the second round of Community Fund applications open today, February 18, and will run through Monday, March 24, 2025. Grants of up to $5,000 per project are available to support academic and administrative departments, centers and institutes, student organizations, and groups of individuals. Preference will be given to submissions that benefit and/or are accessible to the entire Wellesley community and have clear objectives, budgets, and collaborations. [See email for link to the form.]

Congratulations to the first round of recipients of the 150th Community Fund grants:

  • Sesquicentennial Film Festival
  • Composers and Lyricists Throughout the Ages
  • Wellesley in 150 Words
  • Chasing Gender Roles, Iconic Campus Traditions, and the Meaning of Community Across 131 Years of Hoop Racing at Wellesley College
  • Cultural Houses at Wellesley College: A History

Even if you are not submitting a Community Fund proposal, please contact the Office of Communications and Public Affairs if you are considering hosting a 150th anniversary event and would like to have your event included on the 150th anniversary webpage and/or if you are interested in 150th anniversary branding materials.

We can’t wait to see these ideas come to life and how they’ll help make this milestone truly memorable for the community.
