- Global Engagement Internships Info Session | 12:30-1:30 PM | Collins Cinema – Come to this information session and learn: 1. How to research an internship, 2. How to apply for an internship, 3. Funding opportunities for internships through CWS, 4. Presentations from past interns. RSVP on MyCWS.
- Beinecke Scholarship Info Session | 4:30-5:30 PM | GRH 442 – Beinecke Scholarships provide funding for graduate study in the arts, humanities and social sciences. Students must be able to demonstrate financial need and be U.S. citizens or nationals. Students must apply in their junior year. RSVP on MyCWS.
Tuesday, November 11 –
- Boston Law School Forum | 12:00-7:00 PM | Renaissance Boston Waterfront – The Law School Admission Council (LSAC) is offering a series of workshops and an opportunity to talk with law school representatives on Tuesday, November 11, at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront hotel. The event runs from Noon to 7 PM. For more information and a list of participating schools, as well as to register for this event, please visit the LSAC web site.
- International Students – LinkedIn Workshop | 12:30-2:00 PM | PNE 239 – Geared specifically for International Students, this workshop will focus on: -Networking online via LinkedIn; – Job Search Tools on LinkedIn; – Using and Understanding the new W Network group and tool; – Online resources for international job searches. - First Year Workshop | 4:30-5:30 PM | GRH 442 – Learn about the CWS resources pertaining to your first year and beyond! Please RSVP in order to participate. Please also bring your laptop to the event as we will provide hands-on tips on navigating CWS resources online.
- Minority Association of Pre-medical Students (MAPS): Health-related Internships | 6:00-7:00 PM | Harambee House living room – The Wellesley Chapter of the Minority Association of Pre-medical Students (MAPS) has invited Rocio Tisdell ’07, Assistant Director of Internships at the Center for Work and Service, to present about how to navigate CWS resources to find health-related internships and other work and training opportunities.
- Teach for China Info Session | 6:00-7:30 PM | PNE 139 – Teach For China is an innovative leadership opportunity for college graduates committed to education and cross-cultural engagement. TFC is offering two-year teaching fellowships in China and is open to majors of all backgrounds. RSVP on MyCWS.

Hear alums discuss their careers in the nonprofit sector and the ways in which they have both made a difference and earned a living. For anyone who isn’t sure what they want to do after graduation, and even those who think they are, this panel is a great opportunity to learn how you can actually get a job doing that!
