Wednesday, January 30th –

  • Psychology Internships Information Session | 12:30 pm | RSVP on MyCWS – Come learn about the CWS/Psychology Department Summer Internship Program.
  • 3rd Annual Brandeis University Communications Forum | 6:00 pm | RSVP on MyCWS – Please note: Event is at Brandeis University.  NO transportation will be provided. RSVP is limited to 10 participants. Network with 25+ communications employers in the Communications industry.

Friday, February 1st –

  • Chinese Government Scholarship Deadline | NOON – Supports one year of study in China (open to U.S. citizens). More information available here.
  • Wellesley-Yenching Application Deadline | NOON – These fellowships are open to students and alumnae in all majors and may include some training in teaching English as a second language. Chinese language proficiency is only required for the National Palace Museum Fellowship. Full details available here.

Monday, February 4th –

  • Morris K. Udall Scholarship Application Deadline | NOON – Receive $5,000 for college tuition and expenses and connection to a network of national environmental leaders. Details available in MyCWS.
  • UC Berkeley Master of Financial Engineering Webinar | 1:00 pm | Register online – The Berkeley Master of Financial Engineering Program provides you with the knowledge and skills to prepare you for a career in the finance industry. In one year, you will be ready to take a leading role in a fast-growing field that demands individuals who can apply their education and skills at the cutting edge of finance in investment banks, commercial banks, and other firms around the world.
  • CWS Boot Camp (juniors & seniors) | 6:00 pm | RSVP on MyCWS – We’ve added a few new sessions and have some fantastic alums coming to speak to you. This is your opportunity to jam it all in at once!

Tuesday, February 5th –

  • Washington and Lee University School of Law Information Session | 12:30 pm | PNE 239 – Come and learn about Washington and Lee University School of Law (Lexington, VA) and the admissions process. Meet Lisa Rodocker, Assistant Director of Admissions.

Wednesday, February 6th –

  • Spring Travel Grant Deadline | NOON – CWS Travel Grants provides funding to support short-term community service projects during spring break. More information and application available on the CWS website.
  • Lumpkin Summer Institute Information  Session | 12:30 pm | RSVP on MyCWS – During the 10-week program, students reside together in Boston while undertaking full-time internships with local not-for-profit organizations. Led by Wellesley College faculty, staff, and not-for-profit practitioners, a weekly seminar integrating experiential and traditional classroom learning benefits not only the Wellesley interns, but also the communities in which they serve. Join us for an info session with last year’s Lumpkin fellows. RSVP for the event and a free pizza lunch!
  • Madeleine Korbel Albright Institute for Global Affairs Information Session (sophomores & juniors) | 4:30 pm | SCI 277 – Interested in applying to be a Empowering Women for Leadership: Challenges of an Urban Future fellow? Come to this information session to learn more about the program.

Thursday, February 7th –

  • Fellowship Information Meeting | 6:00 pm | SCI 277 – Come and learn about fellowship opportunities for underclasswoman. Now is the time to plan for senior year!

Friday, February 8th –

  • Susan Rappaport Knafel ’52 Scholarship for Foreign Study Application Deadline | NOON – This scholarship will fund a year of study at a foreign institution to pursue a specific subject that requires contact with foreign scholars, libraries or other resources.
