- CWS Student Athlete LinkedIn Workshop | 7:30-9:00 PM | PNE 239 – The CWS Student Athlete LinkedIn Workshop is an exclusive opportunity for varsity athletes to attend a workshop on LinkedIn profile development, followed by and interactive LinkedIn clinic with counselors circulating the room to answer individual questions. - Travel the World: Watson Fellowship Info Session | 6:00-7:30 PM | SCI 277 – The Thomas J. Watson Fellowship offers graduating seniors of “unusual promise” a year of independent, purposeful exploration and travel — in international settings new to them — to enhance their capacity for resourcefulness, imagination, openness, and leadership and to foster their humane and effective participation in the world community. Come learn more about this exciting grant and hear Wellesley alumna Debbie Chen describe her year studying martial arts around the world as a Watson Fellow. Other alumnae have used the Watson to study the spinning of different fibers, overcoming social stigma in the classroom, the experiences of female taxi drivers, alternative energy sources, and glassblowing. Wednesday, February 26-
- The Fair at Wellesley College 2014 | 12:30-2:30 PM | Tishman Commons – Science companies, Not-for-Profit/Public Service organizations and for-profit companies are attending The Fair at Wellesley College to recruit for jobs and internships. Students/alumnae should plan to bring several copies of their resume to The Fair to hand to recruiters from companies/organizations of interest. Business casual attire is required. We will have a booth set up during The Fair offering FREE LinkedIn profile photos! Make sure you stop by to get your picture taken. Note: We are asking that you submit your resume when you RSVP for the event (RSVPs are required). The resumes might be made available to the companies, so please come in to CWS drop-ins to have it checked.
