Monday, March 4 –

  • Life After Wellesley | 6 pm | RSVP on MyCWS – It’s not too late to sign-up for this year’s Life After Wellesley! Join Wellesley alumnae to learn how to find an apartment, manage your finances, create a professional wardrobe, and define success on your own terms. OPEN TO ALL CLASS YEARS.

Tuesday, March 5 –

  • 2014 Albright Institute Information Session | 12:30 pm | PNE 239 – Come hear about the 2014 Albright Institute. The Institute takes place during Wintersession and is open to Wellesley College juniors and seniors (Classes of 2014 and 2015), with priority given to juniors.  Students with an interest in global affairs from ALL majors are eligible and encouraged to apply. The application deadline for the 2014 Albright Institute is March 27, 2013 at 12:00 noon.
  • How to Find an Internship Workshop | 12:30 pm | RSVP on MyCWS Want to learn how to find an internship for the summer or for next year? Come learn and ask about opportunities and internships through the CWS! Space is limited to 20 students.
  • 7 Keys to Creating Your Retirement Dreams | 7 pm | RSVP on MyCWS Join Financial Fellow Manisha Thakor ’92 for an inspiring speech on how to confidently design your ideal retirement. This is an alumnae event, however current students are welcome!  It is never too early to begin planning for your future.

  • Resume Basics Workshop | 12:30 pm | RSVP on MyCWS Learn about how to write a resume or improve yours! Space is limited to 20 students.

Thursday, March 7 –

  • 2014 Albright Institute Information Session | 4:30 pm | FND 120 – Come hear about the 2014 Albright Institute.   • Allen Rosenshine Minority Education & Training Fund | Application deadline March 8 The Allen Rosenshine Minority Education & Training (MET) Fund awards internships to minorities, women and individuals protected under the federal Americans with Disabilities Act to encourage the pursuit of careers in advertising. The program was launched in an effort to improve the level of diversity in the advertising industry. BBDO will award several MET Fund internships for the summer of 2013 across our U.S. offices located in Atlanta, Chicago, New York, Minneapolis, and San Francisco. Interns receive a $4,000 stipend for the ten-week internship.
  • Morgan Stanley Undergraduate Early Insights Programs | Application deadline March 8 The Morgan Stanley Early Insights Programs are open to Women, Black and Hispanic students in their freshmen and sophomore year, and Veterans in their junior year. Our full-day programs provide an opportunity to explore the financial services industry, the Firm’s businesses and culture. Participants are invited to Morgan Stanley offices to network with employees representing various divisions, gain insight into our businesses through a variety of workshops and learn what it takes to be successful throughout the recruiting season.
  • John McLendon Foundation Scholarship | Application deadline April 26 Through the John McLendon Memorial Minority Scholarship Foundation, five (5) $10,000 postgraduate scholarships are available to minority nominees who are planning to pursue a graduate degree in athletics administration.  There are two options available – (1) for nominees who have graduated and have a minimum of two years experience in an athletics administration position; and (2) for nominees who are current full-time seniors.
