Monday, April 8 –

  • SAP University App Rumble Application Deadline | NOON – Do you have a great idea for a mobile app? If so, then SAP wants to hear from you! We’re asking students to take a “design thinking” approach to incorporating SAP Mobile Platform and the breakthrough database SAP HANA, and submit ideas for mobile apps. Three finalist teams will be selected to attend SAPPHIRE NOW in Orlando for final judging. Check the SAP website for full details.
  • Honest Talks in Finance: Getting the Offer | 7:00 pm | PNE 127 – Hear from Wellesley seniors who are looking forward to full-time roles on both the buy-side and the sell-side in this Honest Talks panel. They will go over interview techniques, what questions are asked, how to give a good stock pitch, and most importantly, how to leverage your summer internship to get a full-time offer. All first-years, sophomores, and juniors applying/interviewing for any position in finance are encouraged to attend.

Wednesday, April 10 –

  • Mashable’s Online Career Fair (East Coast) | 1:00-4:00 pm | Online – Have you been searching for your dream job in the Northeast or West Coast? Do you fantasize about meeting recruiters from leading brands and chatting with them one-on-one? The Career Expo covering New York, Boston, Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia is on Wednesday, April 10 from 1 to 4 p.m. ET. Employers on board include Yelp, Intuit, Uber, The Washington Post, WWE, Synacor, Mashable and other reputable brands. Job seekers can sign up here to participate.
  • Planning for Law School | 4:30 pm | PNE 127 – Come learn about Careers in Law, Strategizing for Law School, Reviewing the law school application process, The LSAT, Requesting references, and Timing the application.
  • Life After Wellesley: What Happens When You Leave “The Bubble”? | 8:00 pm | Cazanove Living Room Hear advice from recent LGBTQ alums about managing identity in the workplace.

Thursday, April 11 –

  • Securing Federal Employment Abroad webinar | 4:00 pm | SCI 396 – Join agency representatives and Partnership staff for a webinar discussion around the mission-critical, international positions available through the government. Our speakers will cover both traditional foreign affairs work and other ways to take your career aspirations abroad. Learn how to use languages, technology skills, and other domestic experiences to your best advantage in securing a coveted position abroad.
  • An HONEST TALK: Careers in Finance | 7:00 pm | PNE 139 Join the CWS and experienced Wellesley alumnae working in different sectors within finance, from buy-side funds to sell-side banks, to talk about how to navigate changes in the industry, leverage your personal network, and enhance your skill sets in order to build a satisfying career in finance.
