This is the song I made about prions. The drums are meant to symbolize the battle between the healthy proteins and the invading prions. The initial beat becomes less and less apparent as the new beat overwhelms it and converts it. The varied piano is meant to represent the many facets and beauty of prions and how simultaneously complex and simple they are. At the end, it all fades to the Prion drum beat from the beginning, in a dramatic turn as the prions conquer and the organism dies. I definitely saw a drama in Prions and their power in how they change everything around them.
