Prions and Movement

For my movement piece, I depicted the downward spiral of PrPC to PrPSc. I used a song that I created. At the beginning of the video, the song starts out happily. I am a healthy and fluidly moving normal prion . I twirl my arms in front of myself and twirl around in an a-helix formation. I also shuffle my arms at times from side to side to depict beta-sheets. As the song progresses, something goes wrong. I start to repeat my movement, yet this time the prion has started to convert into PrPSc. My movements become confused and painful, and I cannot repeat the same pattern/movement that I had done once before. I grasp my head in pain, showing how the brain is becoming infected. I become increasingly confused, until I no longer know where I am. With my eyes squinting, I search around my surroundings to try to find something familiar. As I try the movement again, it becomes more and more confused and painful. By the end of the movement, the PrPSc conversion is complete, and I have become fully infected with PrPSc.
