This exercise was really interesting because it really made me think about all our work throughout the semester and actually see all of the work that I have put in and how I have approached each assignment. What I realized is that in many of my assignments I have been trying to show the difference between the before picture of the healthy protein and then the after picture of when it gets infected. So, maybe from now on, I will try to approach the assignments in a different way, maybe looking at the inner structure of the prion rather than its relationship to the protein. In addition, it has really been interesting to see how much I have learned from all the different projects that we have been doing. The reason that this has been so interesting is that I have never previously learned about a discipline through another discipline. For example, I learned a lot about the prion structure through drawing it and trying to represent it accurately. In other classes, I would have just sat down and tried to memorize it. Therefore, I have been able to learn more and appreciate what we have been doing more. The same holds true for all the other exercises that we have been doing.
