Prion Dance

I found it very interesting that we combined dance and movement to the study of prions. I really liked the presentation about the different types of muscles and the movement associated with them. In fact, I found it very interesting independently of prions. However, when combined with the study of prions, it became even more interesting and I understood a lot from it.
The dancing was also very fun and I tried to associate the different steps of prion infection with different types of movements. For example, I associated the slower movements with the particles before the infection hit and the faster movement when the infection had spread. This is the same way I associated slower musical sounds with the non-infectioned agents and the faster musical sounds with the now infectioned agents.
In my video, you can see that at first the movements are very gentle  and slow, moving back and forth. However, later on, the movements start getting faster and faster, increasing the amount of movement until the dance finishes with twirling (as we did in class).
This association between different types of different movements/sounds and infection made me think about the first class that we had. In that first class, we talked about the reasoning behind the fact that we associate different colors with different things even if they have nothing to do with the color itself. So, I wonder if anyone associated the slower movements with infections (maybe because it leads to death and death is still?) and the faster ones with health.
