3D/Laser and CRI

Inspiration for my 3D model. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2968129

My experience at CRI was really enjoyable. We started by touring the gyms and talked with several para-athletes that competed at worlds and the olympics. They were so nice and were straightforward with what they needed and why. Most of them even had prototypes in their minds of what we could do.

Besides meeting literal olympians, we also saw many tools and equipment made specifically for the disabled rowers. I particularly liked the seat developed from the shell of a go-kart seat. That type of creativity is something I want to see if I have. Also, before going to CRI, I had never seen rowing in person. So I was really shocked at the sleekness of the racing boats. They were so long, narrow, and light. Without seeing archery, I would be happy to just stick with rowing. I can’t wait to see the list of project options that CRI has.
