I created a hand-sketch of my dorm light project, alongside the Thingiverse model which I intend to use.
The 3D printed item will be the base of the light (the blue structure) which will hold the LED and have holes to attach itself to whatever surface I place it on. The laser cut part will be a zig zag design on the side for aesthetics.
In regards to the final project, I was unable to go to CRI, but really enjoyed the archery today. The archery experience was a bit scary for me, just simply because there’s always the risk of injury and I like to err on the side of caution. I really appreciated Maddie’s patience, and I can definitely tell that she is great camp instructor. I did get excited about the options related to how to make a stand– specifically how to make sure the stand is secure on the ground, yet has portability features. Micah, Kiki, Chelsie and I had a great discussion. I’m still undecided on which opportunity suits me best, as I feel like I can contribute to them both equally with my vague interest in both. I think I will be happy to work with whichever team I am needed most.
