I found both articles to be super interesting given that we don’t normally consider the exact science behind the activities we simply know to exist.
The part I found the most interesting, and that I’d love to know more about, is why the movement of an arrow being shot is counterclockwise. Why not clockwise? It’s also confusing to me how the “sum of the moments” can be counter-clockwise. I also wonder how often the fletchings don’t even the bow out, and what causes a bow to continue in a counterclockwise rotation (if that’s even possible).
