This week we worked on measuring the lengths of the archery stand, discussing with our partner, and working with Larry to discuss possible positions of clamps and sizes of tubes that we want to use to develop our prototype. It was a bit hard to find the best way to attach another tube at the bottom, but with the help of Amy and Larry, we found a perfect tube. Besides, we wrote out our team agreement, which was a helpful reflection. I was a bit sad when we had to take the wheels off because our partner felt like no need for them. But still, whatever works best should be carried out. For next week we will continue to develop our second prototype, including the clamps and the bottom part of the adjustable tube.
Great to see the actual clamp idea come into fruition. The wheels definitely were cool – you’re right that whatever works best should be carried out and that sometimes means we have to give up some of our ideas that we worked hard on.
Looks really great! I guess the client is always right when it comes to what they need, but that is okay!
