  1. Prediction

This product is a milk froth and serves the sole purpose of frothing milk by spinning at very high speeds such that the milk is aerated. It is mainly designed for any market that deals with delivering food to consumers such as restaurants and hotels. In my opinion, this product is simple, fast, user-friendly and highly efficient for its price.

  1. Observation

The milk froth spins the milk at very high speeds, aerating the milk. Its design was to make it user-friendly and portable for single-hand use. Most of the affordances such as the handle and the spinner have obvious uses but the battery casing was not as obvious. In terms of mapping, the switch is easy to use as it has a conventual use.

  1. Test

The cheaper milk forth does a pretty good job. Results were almost the same as the high-end milk froth. The only exception was slightly low speed and instability in the low-end milk froth.

  1. Disassembly

The milk froth is battery powered and it uses a motor to spin the mixer at very high speeds. It comprised of twelve parts, two of which were involved in the milk frothing movement.

Strengths

Weaknesses

  • Instability when frothing
  • No cover to avoid the milk splashing

 

Increased stability when frothing, maybe by upgrading the motor in use. Through the disassembly of this device, I have come to appreciate real design of the object other than the aesthetic. Also, I now know how a milk froth works.
