Week 4: Boat Sling

We created a team agreement and plan for the next 4 class sessions, as follows:

This week we focused on adapting our prototype to the feedback we received from CRI.

If you watch the video, you can see how the buckles can still potentially scrape the boats because they are still too heavy and unprotected. We reverted back to the plastic buckles and adapted our sling as such:
We will test this on an actual boat at Butler next class and hopefully can get a better idea of which path to take. As of right now it seems like reverting back to our old prototype might be best.
I love that you included your team agreement in your blog post! I hadn’t thought to do that, but it’s such an important part of this process.
I wonder if there’s any modification you could make to the boat to have it not be scratched if you really wanted to use the seatbelt buckles.
