Based on positive faculty feedback, we will be upgrading Sakai to version 2.9 for Fall 2013 (more info). Instead of dramatic changes in the new version, you’ll see improvements like these:
- Drop-down menus in place of tabs
- Automatic “Paste from Word” text cleanup
- Full-screen text editing
- Additional options for dropping some grades
- New Lessons tool allows students to create content and comment on pages
- Text editor on mobile devices — post to forums, set up assignments, and more
