Beware of new email scams using the Ebola virus as a theme (see sample email below). These emails appear to come from trustworthy organizations, like the World Health Organization. However, these phishing emails may contain links that direct users to websites which collect personal information such as username and password, or contain attachments that give hackers access to your computer and the files on it.

To protect yourself against this and other types of phishing scams, follow this one rule:
Never follow unsolicited web links or attachments in email messages!
