Access to the internet, Google Apps, college website, and library catalog will be available. Removing the Admin Firewall will make these services unavailable:

  • Banner/MyWellesley
  • Apps available through Administrivia
  • R25/25Live (campus calendar)
  • TMA (facilities  requests)
  • Vault
  • iStrategy
  • DWR
  • Nolij
  • Filemaker Pro
  • FSAtlas
  • Mimsy/Mobius (The Davis, image catalogs)
  • reset.wellesley.edu
  • Transcripts
  • Surveys (OIR)
  • Blackbaud – Raiser’s Edge
  • Lydia (Lockshop)
  • GrandPM

After 4pm, if you have any issue reaching any of the services above, please contact the Computing Help Desk. You will no longer be required to connect to the Admin Firewall to access secure data. Accessing data from off campus remains the same — use SSL VPN as you always have (vpn.wellesley.edu or vpn.wellesley.edu/secure).

There is another downtime next weekend, on Sat. 8/2. More on that next week.
