8/2 Downtime CANCELED

The services that were planned to be unavailable today while work was done on the NetApp are now available. The work and downtime will be rescheduled to next Saturday 8/9, 5am to 5pm. We apologies for the inconvenience.

For those interested in the reason for the delay: one of the drives failed overnight and was in the process of rebuilding itself. This is normal and why we use NetApp — these rebuilds don’t cause any downtime. However, while a rebuild is happening, you can’t move any of the other drives.
