11/26 2-8am Power outage on campus

You should have received the College Announcements email about the campus-wide power outage on Wed., Nov. 26 from 2-8am. Although the data center where the servers are located will be powered by generators, the network devices and wireless access points on campus will lose power and won’t be available. Therefore, the on-campus network and wireless will be completely down during this time.

We expect access to other on-campus services such as My Wellesley and apps in Administrivia to be available when accessed from outside the campus, but depending on how well the generator power works, they may also be unavailable.

Services from Google such as Gmail, Drive etc., Sakai, and the campus website will be available.
