5/4 New MyWellesley goes live, for real

You’ve heard that we’re moving to a new portal on Monday. Thank you in advance for your patience with the transition — if you notice anything awry or missing, please email portal@wellesley.edu or contact the Help Desk. We do our best to think of everything, but whatever we’ve missed we promise to fix ASAP. The new portal will be a work in progress, and we anticipate active development to make it better and more useful. We’d love to have your feedback anytime!

Some things to know:

  • We’ll be updating links and directing users from my.wellesley.edu to portal.wellesley.edu.
  •  Some systems will ask you to log in again, using your domain username/password (includes Pyramid, Oracle Reports, APEX Reports, WebDB).
  • The first time you click on a direct link to Banner Self-Service page you’ll be taken to the top-level menu. The next time it will take you to the page itself.
  •  If you’re a Banner ERP user, you’ll be prompted to enter your domain username/password again, just once.
  • Entering students will use the new portal, but if they need their applicant data, they’ll return to the old MyWellesley.
  • The new MyWellesley portal uses Drupal, along with IKEA, Twitter, and The Louvre. (If only the Mona Lisa could tweet about her new KARSHOLM frame!)
