9/25 Phishing: Health Information Email Scam

Look out for a phishing email with the subject: “Urgent Alert: Please Read Immediately!” from “Wellesley College Medical Center.”  While the email includes a proper Wellesley phone number and email address, we do not have a Medical Center, we have Health Services.

Be wary of any links when some information in the email seems wrong.  Hover over the link or press and hold on it on mobile to see where it’s really taking you.  Only login to sites that begin with wellesley.edu!  If in doubt, login directly through the MyWellesley Portal directly.

If you received this email, report it as phishing by clicking the triangle or three dots in the upper right of the message and choose Report Phishing, or delete it. You can also always contact the Help Desk about suspicious messages.
