9/6 1:05pm Sakai course issue resolved

All of the Wellesley students who were removed from their Sakai sites regained access to all of their content by 11AM this morning. Cross-registered students and other manually added members of your course sites should also have access.

If you encounter any missing students in your Sakai sites, please call the Help Desk at x3333 to report the problem.

To describe what happened, this morning, around 9:45 AM, we received emails and calls that class enrollments in Sakai were wiped out. We immediately identified the issue and worked with the vendor to remedy the issue and Sakai with the full enrollment was back in operation by 11 AM. All manual enrollments of cross registered students and TAs were unaffected by this issue.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this and we are in the process of building safeguards to make sue that this does not happen again in the future.

10am Due to a technical issue students were inadvertently removed from their Sakai courses this morning around 9am. Students have not had access to anything in Sakai during this time. We will send an update when it’s available.
