Ellen Frechette, M.Ed has worked in the field of early education for 25 years, starting out as a preschool teacher and moving on to provide professional development for infant, toddler, and preschool educators in and around the Boston area. Her primary focus is on using the CLASS observation tool to improve the quality of teacher-child interactions.

Danielle Pazos
Danielle Pazos has 30+ years experience serving diverse populations, creating start-ups, and strategizing with larger systems to optimize outcomes and experiences for children, families, and the educators providing for them. She created the scholarship and quality improvement programs that laid the foundation for UPK in Cambridge, MA. She has coached educator leaders in family child care, public schools, centers, and home visiting arenas. She has been using Practice Based Coaching and the CLASS tools for strength-based reflection and goal setting for more than a decade. She has 4 adult children and 2 grandchildren who challenge her to remain joyful, curious, and playful!

Joyce Ruppell
Joyce Ruppell has been an early childhood educator for over 40 years. She has served the field as a teacher, administrator, technical assistant and elementary school principal. Joyce has been reliable with the CLASS tool for 15 years. She lives in Rhode Island with her family.

Marcela Simpson
Marcela M. Simpson is a highly accomplished professional with a rich background in early childhood education and mental health specialization background. Marcela holds CLASS certifications for Toddlers and PreK to 3rd Grade. In her role as a certified observer, she is fully prepared to evaluate and enhance the quality of classroom interactions, which are crucial for children’s development. Marcela is currently pursuing a Master’s in Social Work with a Mental Health Specialization from Loyola University Chicago, complementing her Master’s in Early Childhood Education.
