I have to be honest – last week was one of the roughest I’ve
had since I’ve been at Wellesley. Classes were challenging, I was tired…but
hey, what do you know, I’m alive and writing this post. What’s more, I can’t say that the pressure isn’t yielding
results. This week I learned a lot – I’m a little closer to communicating
effectively in Spanish, a little closer to be being able to analyze complex
data, and little closer to being able to design a website.
By Friday, my friends and I were ready for a treat. We had a
very enjoyable (and free) time at a discussion at MIT about what means to be Black.
The talk was just one part of a larger program held at MIT called Black Week.
During Black Week, there were shows, lectures, and discussions like the one we
went to. There was even a party – my friends and I went to that, and topped of
our downtime by hanging out with friends. Now I think about it, I ended pretty bad week with a pretty
good weekend – now I’m ready to get back at it!
