Happy Monday, everyone!
There are SO many prospies on campus!! Yesterday was crazy! Fortuitously enough though, the weather was the warmest and nicest it’s been in a long time and people were actually SITTING OUTSIDE ON THE GRASS (which hasn’t happened in like – 6 months!) and it was just in time for the prospies to witness it all! Woohoo! Plus campus looks so pretty right now. π I love that the walls upon walls of snow are gone! It just makes me so much happier. Seasonal affective disorder is a real thing.
Anyway, my birthday was last week. I’m two decades old now!! In honor of that, here is a throwback to the baby days:
And on top of that, Jean and Richard took me out to lunch on the actual day of my birthday! <3 <3 I only have one class in the morning on Thursdays so it worked out perfectly! We went to Captain Marden’s Seafoods, in Wellesley. π
My friends also sent me things in the mail and so many people wrote nice things on my fb wall and 3 people from home even called me! I felt super duper special that entire day and it was a wonderful way to spend my 20th birthday. ^_^
And then on Friday I went climbing! It felt like so long ago since I’d last climbed. And the best part was, I got to see my NU friends!! It had REALLY been a long time since I last saw them. And it was so great! Later on I met up with them at NU and hung out. Here is a snapchat of them chilling in a tree. Clockwise from bottom left: Dylan, Malcolm, Kate, Erik, Alex, Austin.
And then on Saturday, I went to Babson’s spring concert! Here’s Big Sean reduced to a glowing red contour:
And then yesterday I went climbing! With my friend Ant, whom I met when I was still waiting tables at Cafe Mangal last semester. π He took a sick video of me and compiled some sweet pictures! I think these are the first pictures taken of me climbing indoors in a very, very long time.
And then last night after I got back to campus I met up with my study buddy Paula to prepare for our Econ midterm on Tuesday. Sigh.
Those are my friends Caitlin and Delaney in the background. π
And that is all! Until next week!
Cheers,
~Emily
