Hey all!
This past weekend was Halloween and it was such a fun time on campus! Every year, one of the dorm halls hosts an outdoor party that features a ton of music, candy and great costumes. This year I dressed up as a hotdog and many of my friends also had super fun costumes. Overall, it was a super fun time to hang out with friends and enjoy a holiday that we don’t usually get to celebrate as much.
Aside from the party, there were many other events held on campus that were Halloween themed. On Saturday there was an organization led production of Rocky Horror and a poetry slam that had tons of spooky poems. I didn’t attend those events but I heard from others that it was very festive and many people dressed up to fit in with the theme of the play.
Outside of the Halloween festivities, it was a beautiful fall weekend with great temperatures. It hasn’t gotten too chilly outside yet and it is certainly perfect sweater weather which is one of my favorite times of the year. I definitely took my walk to Starbucks for an overpriced pumpkin drink an extra time this past weekend to be able to enjoy the gorgeous walk. Hopefully I will have a bit of a more exciting weekend update for next week, but until then enjoy this beautiful fall weather.
Don’t be a stranger,
Anna Tutek
